Keeping It Rural Since 2005

A family mercantile, through and through.

The Farmer's Wife opened in 2005 with a windmill on the sign and a simple idea: bring a little rural warmth to Old Town Temecula. Since then we have been a family-run gathering place for curated gifts, handmade touches, and the personal service that big stores forgot.

We believe a gift should feel like it was chosen just for someone, and wrapped like it matters. That is what keeping it rural means to us: slower, warmer, and a whole lot more personal. Come see for yourself.

What we stand for

Warm, Personal, and Rooted Here

Family-Run

Family-owned and operated since the doors opened. When you walk in, you are talking to the people who pick every item on the shelf.

Curated with Care

Nothing on our shelves is an accident. Every piece is chosen because someone will love it, and the right person will feel it immediately.

The Finishing Touch

We are famous for our gift-wrapping because we believe a beautiful presentation is part of the gift itself. Come in and let us show you.
